How Nellie’s Started

Keely recognized the challenges of navigating her own medical care and the frustration of feeling unheard by doctors. Drawing on her experience as a social worker, she was able to effectively navigate the system, ask the right questions (and many of them!), and advocate for herself to achieve her healthcare goals with confidence. Keely often reflected, “I am fortunate to know how to navigate this process, but what about those who don’t? Who is helping those who don’t know what to ask or where to find the right resources?”

Initially, Keely began assisting friends and family with their healthcare journeys. Recognizing the growing need for this type of support, and inspired by Keely's dedication and compassion, Matt suggested expanding the service to a broader audience. And so, Nellie’s was born—dedicated to helping others navigate the complexities of the healthcare system with the same care and commitment.
